Notes

I made the poncho with no changes to the body, only the neck. I eliminated the neck ribbing altogether and did an i-cord bind off, and much prefer it that way.

Love this pattern and the yarn and they worked well together. Make sure you choose a yarn that has some drape, not too much, but you don’t want this poncho to be stiff either. Columbia was perfect for it after blocking.

I would not lengthen this pattern. It’s only one size and the temptation is to lengthen, but I think adding length would make this go frumpy.

This is made for my daughter who is in her 40s. She tried it on while it was in progress and it looked great on her. Now it’s finished and before I sent it off to her I took some modeled pics of me and also of my 16 year old neighbor. I think it looks great on both of us. She LOVED it!
