Cute hat!

4 strands of palette held together. One strand each of Pennyroyal and Aster, and 2 strands of what I think might be Bluebell, but both balls have lost their bands.

I magic looped all but the I-cord. For the I cord, I just used the tips of my interchangeable set without cables attached. I didn’t really need a point on the needle I was knitting off of, so I left that as the end that usually attaches to the cable.

While I found doing 2 M1p from the same bar awkward, it also gives the cleanest look.
My hands and arms aren’t used to working on this large a gauge, and I felt it.

Watch out for rnd 55 the long stretch of purls changes to knit here. This is also were the pattern says to drop back down to the smaller needle. I did, and my BO turned out too tight. I ended up re-doing rnd 55 on with the larger needles.

I had trouble getting the fold up of the brim to look “good” so I blocked it without sewing it up, and played with it after I blocked it. I found it easier after blocking.

I could totally see someone trying to do this hat as intarsia in the round!

As usual this hat looks better on the glass head than it does on mine.
