Chart B:
On rows 21, 25, and 33 if you are using markers they will move.
On row 49 the 3 stitch edge pattern is different watch out for it!
Chart C:
The markers change on the first row. I would remove your markers if you use them on the last row of Chart B, and replace them while knitting row 1 of C.
twist3inc - I didn’t use a cable needle for them. I just knit the third stitch on the needle from behind, YO, knit the second stitch from behind, YO, knit the first stitch as normal, pull all 3 knitted stitches off the needle and continue on.
On row 25 if you’re using markers they will shift.
Chart D:
I din’t use markers except to mark the edge stitches. If you use markers they shift on row 7.
Chart E:
I used markers to keep track on the 5 big repeats and the edge stitches.
Chart F:
Took out the repeat markers, and only used the edge markers.
If you do use markers for the repeats, they will shift on rows 5, and 13.
Chart G:
I placed markers for the big repeats again. If you do, you may want to remove them again before row 5. On that row they will shift again.
I started to make stupid mistakes in the lace, so decided not to knit the Tall even though I had enough yarn.
Chart H:
Row 5 has cables and lace and beads, Oh my! ;)
If you depend on markers to keep your repeats straight I would recommend removing them on row 6, and replacing them on row 8 or 9. Row 7 has a twist 3 stitch that straddles the marker line, and the marker will move. For that twist 3 stitch I copied the increase from earlier in the shawl without the YO between the stitches.
The marker also moves on row 31
This chart has a lot of extra bead potential.
Chart I:
Row 3 sees the edge pattern change. the k1 tbl became a double decrease.
Bind off:
I used a size 4.5mm crochet hook for the BO. The BO is long, but it only took me about 2 and a quarter hours.
Blocking:
I blocked this shawl with an angle in the top line. My blocking wingspan is 72 inches from tip to tip, and about 36 inches from the middle back down. I think I’m glad I didn’t do the tall size. When I un-pinned it, it only relaxed about an inch in all directions.
The Yarn:
I don’t remember picking out so much vm from the yarn when I used the white, but it’s been a while. There was also a section that I ended up cutting out because it was a lot thicker than the rest, and had a couple of fold backs in one of the ply. I should have probably cut out more than I did. Most of it is consistently thin, but in that thin there is a fluctuation like in my hand-spun.
