The color is showing up more bluish than it really is. I used the Rowan Handknit Cotton in “Violet” -- a lovely purpley blue.

But most important -- measure, measure, measure! This is a 2 1/2 yr old girl. I used the measurements given for the 6 month old baby and just lengthened the sleeves and torso and it fit perfectly.
