Super quick project to take part at the first month of the (Vi)laines fall KAL ending today and to destash the remain skein from my Laurie.

I used the notes of larisa and ninetoedwoman to make my mods

1. I did a staggered doubled decrease to have the spider-web crown (3rd picture)

• Row 1 (deacrease row, knit row): put the last stitch before marker, behind marker. Make a centered double decrease (s2kp2) using the slip stitch and the initial first stitch of the group as explained here: http://www.knit1chgo.com/2013/04/centered-double-decrease.... Knit the remaining stitches of the group and do not forget to slip the last one behind marker
• Row 2: purl
• Row 3: knit
• Row 4: purl Reapeat these four rows until 8 live stitches remain.

1. I did a ruching to hide a little the fake seam that always appear when knitting garter stitches in the round.

2. Work the brim with US4 for 10 bumps of garter stitch, the US6 for 6 more bumps before switching to US 6 until the end (8 inches before crown).

Petit projet en vitesse pour pouvoir participer au 1er mois du (vi)lain KAL d’automne. Ca m’a aussi permis d’utiliser l’écheveau restant de ma commande une fois mon Laurie terminé.

J’ai utilisé les notes de Larisa et Alisha pour faire mes modifs :

1. j’ai fait des diminutions double étagées pour avoir cet effet toile d’araignée.
comment faire ?

• rang des diminutions (à l’endroit): passer la dernière maille avant l’anneau marqueur derrière cet anneau (elle se retrouve à côté de la première maille du groupe). Faire une diminution double centrée comme expliqué ici : http://www.knit1chgo.com/2013/04/centered-double-decrease... et continuer à tricoter en n’oubliant pas de passer la dernière maille du groupe de l’autre côté du marqueur à chaque fois.
• rang envers
• rang endroit
• rang envers Répéter ces 4 rangs. j’ai fait des diminutions tous les 4 rangs pour garder la hauteur de la couronne puisque je diminue mes mailles 2 fois plus vite.*

2. j’ai fait un effet ruché (cf les notes de ninetoedwoman )

3. Enfin j’ai utilisé des aiguilles 3.5 pour faire 10 vagues de point mousse (10 rangs endroits + 10 rangs envers), puis des 4 pour les 6 vagues suivantes avant de tricoter le reste en 4.5 (20cm avant les diminutions)
