06/06/2010 - Love this yarn and the shawl I made. Tom took me back to the shop and bought me 2 skeins in a different colourway this time. I will make the same shawl but twice as long. Can’t wait to start!

06/19/2010 - Had to run to Three Kittens this week and get a longer needle to keep knitting on this. It was getting hard on the 32” circular - so I upped it to 40” and that feels better. I think if I were going to knit three balls I would be having to investigate longer than 40” or possibly two circulars - but I am making this a two baller - so I should be fine.

06/20/2010 - Finished this last night. I bound off in the truck while we were driving around trying to fins a nice birdbath for our gardens. Seriously - how hard is it to find a unique birdbath that does NOT cost $300.00??!?! Apparently very hard. Anyway - I wove in the ends as I watched tv last night and then wrapped it around me and wore it till I went to bed. (The air kicked on and it made my arms cold - so this was perfect!)

I am in love with it. It is more shawl than scarf unlike the last one I made. The colors in the yarn are soooo pretty and the pattern is simple yet classy. I got nervous at the end thinking I would not have enough yarn to bind off - so I bound off early and have a 19 gram ball left over from the second skein. 26 grams left over in all.

Love it!
