This pattern is written for beginners, IMO, and would make a great first sweater-like pattern, except for the neck because it’s knit in the round. The neck could be knit flat and seamed, or picked up and knit onto the neck opening & worked flat and then seamed without having to sew it on the neck opening.

Let’s hope for a cool fall & winter in Florida so my sister has plenty of opportunity to wear this. I also wish her some frosty AC in her office. :)
