Notes

v-neck increases every 6 rows
below bust line, transitioned to Star Stitch and used opportunity to decrease by 7 sts (p4tog a few times rather than p3tog) for more shapely fit there.

Haven’t decided if I’ll use Star throughout or transition again after a band

Star Stitch:
Multiple of 4 stitches + 1 (i.e. 17, 21, 25, 29…)
Row 1 (RS): Knit all stitches
Row 2: P1, (MS, P1) repeat to end
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: P3, MS, (P1, MS) repeat to last 3 stitches, P3
Repeat these 4 rows.

MS:
Make star as follows:
Purl three stitches together but leave the stitches on left needle. Wrap yarn around the working needle once, then purl the same 3 stitches together again.

3 rows of stars followed by
rosery stitch
r1+3 k1, (yo, k2, DD, k2, yo, k1)
even rows purled
r5+7 k2tog, (k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, DD) ssk at end

Will do cuffs and hems in Star Stitch

3 rows seed stitch to avert curling
Regular BO

Front edging:
Had slipped end stitches while knitting for easy pick up.
simple 5DC shells every 4 sts with slst between (shell, skip SC, slst in next, skip SC, shell…) on WS (following a SC starting row) and then sc along top 3 DC with a DC in slst to square it off.
