The singles were spun clock-wise using a inch-worm technique, and not wetting of fibers.
It kinda looks like dental floss before plying.
It was plied counter-clock-wise and became softer as I plied it. The skein was then cooked for almost 30 min with some liquid detergent in the water.
I didn’t notice any chances on the yarn after the cooking time. The yarn is soft, but it retained a fold line where I draped it over the hanger to dry.
Even the misaligned fibers spin very well and retain the sheen.
When spinning it felt very much like silk (a bit slippery), but without being clingy/sticky.
