Made at SDA’s Awesome Games Done Quick, for Awesome Games Done Quick! This was by far the crowd favorite, and I can understand why. Who knew metroids could be cute? ;)

This was given away to a random donor who gave $5 or more to the Prevent Cancer Foundation during the speedrun of Super Metroid. It also hung around a lot on camera, and ate lots of people’s energy. It’s probably full now, but I’d still be wary. The metroid sat on Nate Jahnke’s head for the majority of Metroid Prime 2 (and it was remarked that Nate must have “like, 27 energy tanks”).
