Typos galore in the pattern. Many other people have pointed these out in the comments, and I’m sure there are plenty of people who have smarter comments than I, but…

1. The chart is read from R to L on even rows and L to R on odd rows.

2. The numbers are printed on the wrong sides of the chart on charts 2 and 5.

3. The border instructions are so profoundly unclear that it took me six or seven tries, while attempting to read the written instructions and the chart simultaneously, to figure it out. It boils down to the fact that at the end of each RS row, you’re going to leave one extra stitch unworked, which is the slipped stitch from the prior WS row. Yeah, still not clear. Sorry about that.

Also, this thing is HUGE! Love the enormous size of this shawl. From tip to tip, it was as long as my daughter’s twin sized bed, and nearly as wide.
