5/24/10 - Love the pattern. It would have helped if I had actually, you know, READ the directions before starting to knit. It would have saved me a whole heap of trouble. I was going off what my memory of the original Whisper Cardigan pattern was, which was stupid of me.

Also, not really thrilled with this yarn. It is very stiff and scratchy, and not at all what I would have expected from a 100% merino lace yarn. The other KP lace yarns that I have (I got a sampler last year) are really nice, quite soft and swatched beautifully, so I’m not exactly thrilled with the Shadow Tonal. I hope that the Shadow Kettle-dyed is nicer.

5.30.10 - used less than one skein total for this sweater. I made it slightly smaller than the dimensions for my daughter, as she’s a petite 4 year old, and it came out beautifully. But yeah, less than a skein. I’d say I used about 3/4 of a skein.
