Weaving on my Ashford Knitters looms - it’s really a lovely process.

I get all the threads I might use for the warp…..take some out, change some around.

Settle on some. Invariably change my mind.

Weave with Rowan Big Wool. Warp with some hand dyed yarn…flash some gold thread through for interest.

Not take ANY interest in the edges AT ALL - in fact - leave them loose and floppy. It becomes the feature of the scarf instead.

Love the gold thread peaking through.

Am giving it a nice soak tonight ready for a lovely friend’s 40th Birthday.
