Cat’s out of the bag - Developing a ‘concept’ pattern for “loom-and-arty”…using a bunch of different yarns including: hand dyed yarn, hand spun yarn, commercial yarn, commercial sock yarn, pieces of a necklace, and some fabric as well….

All made much simpler by using the wonderful reed system I am trialling.

Ok - Have finished the first section. I decided to wrap it wet around a HUGE sake bottle and tie it up as i wanted to set some crinkles into it so it wasn’t smooth and pristine. Worked nicely.

Now to warp up for the 2nd and third section.

Edited to add - decided to finish with this piece - was a learner concept.

Ready to tackle other ‘cloth making capabilities’ now.
