First handknit for Baby #3.

Cotton fabric is very drapey and loose. Will be good for summer, though I’m guessing it’ll be a bit big.

Want to embellish it a bit and still need buttons, but waiting to know the sex. Have some different ideas.

7.14.2013 Update: I ended up not embellishing other than buttons; I like it this way. It is larger than meant to be, I think; the pics are of my 1 mo old Aurelia. She’s about 9lb, 15oz at this point and it fits with a bit of room to spare. Would have been huge at birth (6lbs, 15oz).

9.2.2014 Update: First and last photos are at almost 12 weeks and approx 13lbs.
