Notes

I made these for my mom, sizing down from the called for needles to match gauge (i’m a loose knitter) and for a thicker fabric (larger needles = holey fabric).

I made the mitts only, without the flip-top and modified the thumb, knitting 6 rounds in st st and 4 rounds of p1, k1. When binding off the hand portion I used Jenny’s Super Stretchy Bind-off.

This is the first time I’ve done cabling this extensive and I was quite pleased with the design and how it turned out.

The flower motif is perfect for my mom, as is the dark blue I used to match the Purl Scarf I made for her birthday.
