Notes

I don’t believe they make this yarn anymore or maybe it’s under a different name (Wool Clasica seems very similar).

I was a bit short on yarn so made the cuffs about 4 1/2” instead of the called for 6 1/2”. Even so, they are long enough that I often roll them up (which still looks good on the shrug) and could easily have made them shorter. The longer length will be nice, though, as it gets colder.

I also made the last set of ribbing 2 1/2” long instead of 3 1/2”, again b/c of lack of yarn. It turned out well, though the shrug doesn’t stay over my boobs; you can’t really tell otherwise, though, and as I’m on the shorter side, I probably could have the whole thing a bit shorter and been fine. The sleeve widths fit well as is, though, so would not have wanted to affect those.

If I had it to do again I would use Jenny’s Super-Stretchy Bind Off (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall09/FEATjssbo.php) as even a loose bind off (recommended in the pattern) feels a bit constricting.

Overall, I love, love this shrug and had fun making it.
