I was making the stranded version in chunky yarn and it was coming out way too thick and so small it might fit a cat. I switched to the worsted yarn and added 2 repeats of the pattern for a total of 6 repeats.

After increases 108 stitches.

Bind off 42 stitches for front.

After brim work 1 extra row of decreases on neck.

Each ear-flap has 18 stitches.
Place 18 on holder, bind off 27, work last 18 for 1st ear-flap.
12 ridges.
Work one extra decrease row.
