Reading the pattern correctly, I understand that these mitts are for men. Need to calculate down at least one size, with 5 ply anyway:

4 times rib pattern, k1, 2 times chevron pattern, k1, 4 times rib pattern
Row 2 changed to:
4 times rib pattern, k1, K29, 4 times rib pattern.

Do not understand the thumb instruction, because 2times 6 = 12. Not 19…anyway will knit until I reach 19 stiches. Ah- now I’ve got it, its plus the two set-up rows plus one side stich. Ok.

Knitting with 4 DPNs. Put every pattern sequence on one needle.

Nevertheless the yarn is phantastic, I’d rather use it for a shawl instead. The colour sequences are very unpredictable and do not repeat. But its still a beauty!
