Notes

I mixed two patterns together to make these snug sock like booties for my daughter. These are size 6, but by using a size G hook, I was able to make them fit snug more to a size 7-8 closer to her foot size. They are made in two parts. First you make the boot part, which is the foot pattern of the Nordic Slipper Boots and then I crocheted the cuff counting seven stitches from the front middle on each side whether it was the right or left bootie and chaining 16 and starting from there. She chose a neutral colour to go with any outfit. I just loved the ripple stitch, so I had to do some math and adjust the stitch to incorporate it as the cuff part. I like the foot part of the Nordic Slipper and the way it moulded the foot using 4ply yarn. I crocheted a button hole and sewed the button with another button inside for reinforcement and added a non-slip sole. Voila! I am so pleased on how they turned out.
