I modded this to include a bit of a jewel neck collar to narrow it down because the silk (and my lack of gauge) stretched out too much to make it sit on one’s shoulders correctly. Now the neckline is roomy enough yet doesn’t fall off the shoulders.

Neck opening (lying flat): 11”
Bottom opening (lying flat): 43”
Center neck down to bottom hem (lying flat): 23.5”
Center neck down to bottom hem (hanging on my mannequin): 24.5”

NOTES:
Nice pattern. Yarn is pretty easy to work with and soft!

Because this yarn is 30% silk, I expect it to stretch, so I stopped after the 10th set of 8 after row 2 and began the 6 rows of seed stitch to get it to arrive at the cuff length. Hope to finish this portion after one more evening, then wash, block and have photos up by 3/26/15 in the evening.

It’s beautiful! Now to blocking.

Oh yeah, it stretched! It stretched, particularly in the neckline probably due to my gauge and the silk content weighing it down. I did end a bit early so the length should just pass below the wrist. I picked up stitches in the neckline and did a k2tog and ssk on either side of the triangle tips after a couple of rows of seed stitch. Then wrapped up with another row or two of seed stitch and bound off knitwise. I think it looks nice and matches the bottom hem rather well!
