MAN! His feet are huge! I was expecting to have these done before Christmas, but the baby decided he no longer wanted to take naps in the crib. This is the first whole pair of socks I knit for Chris, so I guess I didn’t really have a good estimate as to how much yarn I would need. I measured how much yarn I had left from the 4th skein so I’ll know in the future exactly how much I’d need. But really, 607 yards?? This will likely be the last whole pair he gets. Good thing it fits him so well! :-P

-- Ball of Foot (Around Ankle): 10 inches
-- Toe to Heel: 11 inches

Gauge: 7 sts/inch

Cast on 68 sts. K2,P2 down leg and top of foot. Eye of partridge heel flap (Row 1: sl1, k1, rep from. Row 2: sl1, p to end of row). Round heel, picked up 20 stitches for heel flap. Knit instep until 9 inches, decreased toe to 28 stitches (14 on each needle).
