Notes

I added some short row shaping the the back to make a nice curve to the shawl that added length to the back. Very happy with the results.

11/29 Several friends in the KAL are unhappy with the width of the shawl. Since I do have another skein of the alpaca I am thinking of ripping out the ruffle edge to make the body longer. I also hate the point that sticks out when you pick up the stitches at the corner. Will modify to pick up extra stitches in the corner to try and round it out a little smoother.

9/4 Cast on as a KAL with some gals from my knitting group. We all bought oddles of this alpaca 2 years ago at MDS&W because it was oh-so-soft and lush. I found this pattern and though it would be perfect for that yarn and then found out that a few other had the same idea so we decided to cast on together! I mixed mine with Cascade 220 that I had in my stash as well and I’m luving the mix!! What a stash buster!!
