Learned the German Twisted Cast-On just for this. :) Pretty neat.

Doing 80 stitches, and it looks as though it’s going to be small. Hopefully there will be a small baby that can use this. I want to send this to PRR for the baby closet drive. I made a hat with this same yarn, finished it tonight.

12:08 Knitting done! Now I need to weave in ends, block, and get buttons on it. I think I’ll do the ends first, and then set it to blocking while I pick out my buttons.

1:43pm It’s all done! Not blocked, of course, but I have buttons on it and ends woven in. I’m very happy with it and I intend to cast on another right away. I used little blue buttons I found in a container that mom had, and I sewed them on with yellow thread, to make it more playful and colorful. I think it’s newborn or 0-3 months size, and there will be a baby that it will fit perfectly somewhere on the Rez.
