My plans to use a more colourful yarn worked out magnificently! I really love this design with a bit more colour…I don’t think the lace is lost at all!

Being a dyer, I love colour so that could have an impact on how I see these things too…all the shawls I’ve seen in person with multi-colours in them are gorgeous and I can still see the lace pattern. I like to think outside the box a little too!

I ended up using 98 g of the 100 g for a total of 392 yards - followed the pattern as it was written with no changes.

(hard to measure length as the shawl is a semi-circle so I measured around the circle)
