Picked this up again after several months. I’ve finished the left front and started on the back. This sweater takes me much longer than it should, for such a nice and fairly simple pattern!

Took a photo of the nearly finished sweater. I only need to stabilize the button bands and sew on the buttons.

Finished back and joined the shoulders. Only two sleeves to go, yay :D! This is actually quite fast to knit if you just stay with it.

I’ve finished the first sleeve tonight. I had picked up and worked both of the sleeve caps beforehand.

Finished everything tonight.
But while blocking I realized that I totally messed up the lace bib. Somehow I forgot 2 repeats of the lace rows (thats 8 rows in total) on the left front panel! :( This also explains the trouble I had picking up the sleeve stitches, where I had much more stitches on one side than the other.
Why did’t I see this mistake on the picture I posted before? At that stage I could still have ripped back and fixed it. But now after finishing the whole sweater… oh well, all I can do is hope that it isn’t too obvious while wearing.

I finally stabilized the button band with grosgrain ribbon and sewed on the buttons. So it really is completed now.
Everyone I asked said the lace problem was not really noticeable, so I think I’m gonna wear it.
I’m gonna take some real pictures soon.
