Test Knit

10.18.2012-2: Finished! He was a very quick knit. The pattern was very well written. Personally I would have liked instructions as for what stitch to use to sew him up. The directions for what to sew are fine, it’s the how that had me a little confused. I used poly-fill instead of wool fiber for the stuffing (it’s what I had in the house), but he still stands… kind of. I sewed him rather funny.

10.18.2012: Cast on last night. I’m using worsted weight yarn (but it feel like a light worsted) and US5 (3.75mm) needles istead of the US4 (3.5mm) one’s called for in the pattern to compensate for the thicker yarn. Only have a few rows so far, but he’s coming along nicely. Instructions are easy to follow right now. I can’t wait to have him finished!
