Finished just in time for the cold weather at the beginning of October.

Intended as a cozy washable coat for Lauren to start middle school with :)

I tried very hard to pick a style and colours that best suit Lauren’s preferences. She likes colourful, funky clothing, but not too quirky. She also likes stripes and large hoods. Hopefully this fits the bill!

In these photos, the coat has been machine washed and dried a few times. So far so good… minimal pilling.

The fit turned out perfect! Hopefully I left enough room in the sleeve and coat length for her to be able to wear it for a few years yet.
