CO 36, work ribbing with ktbl for 3”, increase to 42 sts as some say it’s too big.

Rip that back (this is a thinner Worsted weight yarn) and re-cast-on with the pattern’s original 42 sts, then work ribbing with ktbl for 3”.

8 total repeats of lace pattern, added one more decrease row to finish with 6 rather than 12 sts.

Made linings by picking up 42 sts after the ribbing with the same yarn and knitting as recommended, except I bound off the thumb gusset instead of slipping the stitches to waste yarn as I did not want the extra bulk in the thumbs. I also started the decreases half a pattern repeat before the outer decreases started to keep the liner from bunching.
