Of course, in my quest to use up stash yarn, I ended up using yarn I’d put into my knitting group’s general stash bag. Doesn’t count against my stash totals, d’oh!

For the circles, I started with Magic Ring because I love that technique.

For the edging pieces, row 6, I did: ch1, sc 4x along edge, 3 sc into bottom of ch, sc, 3 sc into bottom of ch, sc 4x along edge, sl1, sl to first sc, fasten off.

Ran out of the gray, used two other grays close in color for the last couple pieces. One was a DK held double, the other was a worsted that was a touch thinner than the original yarn.

Got a piece of 1” thick foam and cut it to the square’s dimensions instead of using loose stuffing.
