Crochet goes quick, right?

After the last full pattern repeat I can get (12 full rows of shells), finishing off the edge with picots. * 3 ch sts, slip in first ch, sc in space, sc in dc * around.

Actually, had 12 grams of yarn left and needed about 16 for another pattern repeat - not enough to keep going, but too much for a simple picot edge. Hrmph. Adding a scalloped edging like Kristenskords’. ch 6, * sc in 2nd sp, ch 4 * around, making a sc in the non-space between shells, then 5 sc in each ch sp around.
