Notes

Love, love, love this pattern and especially love the yarn/pattern combination. The silk really gives it a shine and pop, and the color is just wonderful. So, so happy with these!

7/25: Not sure about sizing here - I’ve learned that I like a bit of negative ease, but I think I should have probably gone with the L for the leg and the M for the foot.

8/3: Yes, I definitely should have done that. I will knit the second sock to the correct size and see if I have enough time to re-knit the first one too, or if that one will have to be finished for the project timeline requirements and re-knit at a later date.

8/16 Finished for the first time - going to rip and re-knit one sock, but finished to play along with Camp Loopy!

Actual (mostly) fitting sock: L leg and heel flap, S-ish foot. First foot row, decrease all P3 to P2 except for the ones on either side of the cable, and continue gusset decreases until stitch count for S foot plus 4. I probably should have added in the third stitch to the knit bars between the cables like for the M to gain another inch in the calf, but it works well enough!

Switching the direction of the cables for the second sock. I like my socks mirrored rather than identical.

Errata:
All C6B should be C6PB
Sizes S and L charts start at round 23, not 27 as written.
Charts have odd floating symbols in no-stitch areas sometimes, and anywhere a no-stitch begins, there should be a double decrease next to it.
L Chart 3, Row 89: Last stitch should be a SSK.
L Chart 3, Row 91: Weird symbol should be a C6PB.
L Charts 1 and 3, Rows 115, 123, 131: One stitch should disappear from each of these rows.
After the charts, all sizes: There should be two more rows worked as set to keep 7 rows between cable crossings.
I knit one additional row after the chart. As such, after the heel flap:
Round 1: picking up the stitches, knit instep as set
Round 2: decrease round, knit instep as set
Round 3: knit as set
Round 4: cable round, Round 1 in pattern and continue following pattern

If extending leg, knit 2 rows, then follow directions in pattern as set. Round 3 however has incorrect stitch counts. Cable where you’d cable normally there, disregard the written directions.
