Am loving these two colors together. It looks fantastic so far!

Six stripes done - five more to go!

8/23/11: Started stripe #9 today. Hoping I may be able to get 12 stripes out of the Dahlia. We’ll see!

8/28/11: 11 stripes done. So far, this isn’t very large. Am kicking myself that I didn’t use US Size #6 needles. Ordered more Dahlia to definitely make 12 stripes.

9/1/11: Started on 2nd hank of Dahlia for 12th stripe. Just realized I have almost an entire hank of Thunderstorm to knit up for the border. Really hope I can finish on deadline for Camp Loopy!

9/7/11: On the border, and progress has slowed considerably. I only have time for a few rows at a time. Fingers crossed I make the deadline!

9/11/11: Done! I used all of the Thunderstorm for the border, then did 2 rows in Dahlia and bound off on size #9 needle. It’s much bigger than I realized (knitting on 29” circ). Love it! Can’t wait to take a picture!

9/13/11: Still need to block it, but wanted to get a photo up before the challenge deadline of 9/15. I love it! The Thunderstorm is a bit bluer than the photo indicates - more of a deep inky blue, rather than black.
