Knit the body of the hat to 6.5” instead of 7. If I were to do it again I would only knit to 6”.

I freaking LOVE this yarn. So nice to work with. The color isn’t really accurate in the photo, it is much more muted and smokey. I’ll try to take a better picture later on outdoors.

I was worried about the YOs in the pattern leaving too big of holes. I was advised to do the YOs and then knit them through the back loops on the next round to close them up. This worked perfectly and I actually like the look of the pattern much better that way.
