A fun pattern to knit -- just make sure you follow the directions carefully and get the whole left-sock right-sock thing down.

In the directions for the foot section, the instructions read “ Work across heel sts as follows: K2tog, k810, 12, ssk. 3236, 40 sts rem in heel, 67 73, 79 sts total.” I made the large size, and for that size, I couldn’t do the K2tog and make the stitch count work out. I left out that step, and it worked fine. I wonder if the K2tog is meant only for the S or M sizes?
