A fast knit until you get to the ruffle and your rows become longer and longer…The ruffle is nicely constructed with one knit stitch increasing to thirteen and framed by eyelet sts and purl stitches. This creates a very even ruffle, almost more like pleats. A lovely pattern. Sometimes a simple pattern is best to showcase the yarn :)

Julie and I both work at The knitting Garage at AL Stickle and I noticed that she is always working on projects for others unless she is working on a store sample, so for her birthday it was time to sit her down and have her choose a pattern and yarn for a shawl. it is coming along beautifully and if you are interested the pattern is available at the store and so is the yarn… in many different colors.
