I am using the solid blue cascade yarn for the toes and heels. That way I have some of the pretty Adriafil left for another project :)

I bought the yarn when I was on my road trip in OBX. * click here* for more on that on my blog. I think these will make nice socks for my son. With shoe size 13 he has a hard time finding socks which fit comfortably and these are his wife’s favorite colors.
Since I made the Christmas Stocking for the store I love the afterthought heel and am incorporating it in this pattern, perhaps in a solid contrasting color. I have not tried out the fish lips kiss heel yet, so I am keeping an open mind as to which heel I will love the most .
