Getting started: I cast on 145 sts on the larger needles and will be using up the yarn at a ratio of 3:1.
Started with a knit row and then the pattern. I am doing garter stitch on the first and last stitch.
First color change: After six rows of yellow, I switched to the CC white for the next two rows. Then back to MC (yellow) for 12 rows, CC (white) for 4 rows. Repeat the 12:4 row sequence till the end.
Finishing: 2 instead of 4 rows in CC and 6 rows of MC, then bind off loosely (with the larger needle) purl-wise.
