This is my third moebius, I may be hooked on these as a clever and fast gift.
During the Hudson Valley Yarn Crawl I “tasted” the Trendsetter Yarn Merino 8 Shadow at the Knitting Garage at Stickles in Rhinebeck NY and really liked it. It wasn’t enough for a moebius, but by adding some other stash yarn I came up with this version.
I made some changes to the pattern: Cast on 72 stitches(by mistake); k 5 rows, p 5 rows, then change to needle size 10.5; k 5 rows, p 5 rows, k4 rows. I alternated the merino and cotton yarns every row doubling both at all times with the Paton Divine to give the moebius that fuzzy look and to pull it all together color wise and fiber-wise. I got a little bored in the end and did a ssk, YO, k2tog, YO in the second to last row then I bound off with the picot bind off. I like the way it came out, both the look and feel.
