Notes

I got this yarn as part of my husband’s Christmas present together with a finished pair of socks in the same yarn in grey. Promises of things to come ;)
The color was kind of a joke although I know he likes red. We kind of laugh about a certain commercial advertisement for a specific University in which all the successful graduates wear red socks. Tony was supposed to change the yarn to a different color he’d prefer, but he stuck with red.
I am finally starting on these after knitting up most of the yarn I received for Christmas into wonderful projects for me :) and I am happy to try out the Fish Lips Kiss Heel Construction. I am using the other pattern just for the numbers.
2.24. Cast on using “Judy’s magic cast-on”.
3.9. I have just knitted my first ever FLK Heels. This is the easiest most clever method I have come across. I am sure that I will be using the FLK Heel construction many more times.
4.7. Final comment from Tony: These are the best fitting socks even though the others do fit well, too.
