Looking at my husband’s woolly socks and can tell that the Frolicking Feet yarn wears and holds up the best. The pair I had made him in summer of 2013 still has very good stitch definition and no fuzzies:2013 socks.
So, for his birthday, I splurged on a skein of this yarn in the color “mercury” and I am knitting them up secretly. For all he knows I am only working on a pair for myself in Hedgehog Fibers.
For the toes and heels I am using left over yarn from the original frolicking feet pair I had made.
I am using the waffle stitch pattern from project peace.
