Notes

Holding together four strands of yarn (two each of each yarn).
Cast on 50 stitches
Rows 1-14: knit (=garter stitch) this gave me 9 inches and I used 60% of each of the first two balls of the Cascade, so that’s about 77yards (x four strands= 308 yards of yarn total).
Based on that calculation I proceeded as follows:
Rows 15-22: K2, P2 ribbing
Rows 23-28: Knit one row, Purl one row (Stockinette stitch)
Rows 29-42: Seed stitch
Rows 43-48: Knit one row, Purl one row (Stockinette stitch)
Rows 49-56: K2, P2 ribbing
Rows 57-70: knit (Garter Stitch).
Turned out that my original calculations were off and I was able to add four rows before binding off. I considered at first to do these additional rows in either ribbing or seed stitch, but in the end I decided to just make the final garter stitch section longer.
Absolutely LOVE the way this came out!!! Not only does it look scrumptious and so inviting to cuddle up with, but also it IS WARM since I only used 100% Wool and Mohair.
I added a few charms for a personal touch.
