Notes

My friend BobbiUnraveled thought I sewed in the yarn ends in a neat way and ought to add to my project notes how I did it with this taped yarn: I wove in the yarn mimicking the previous stitches and then I used needle and threat to sew the yarn end onto itself see picture). Basically overlapping two taped yarn pieces and sewing them one on top of the other; virtually invisible.

Yes, I do wear it A LOT; even to my son’s graduation :)

I have to thank my friend Bobbi for the inspiration for this shawl (thus the name). She made one just like it and I had to make one, too.

After knitting up the Lalo sweater I still had six skeins of yarn left and kept looking for the perfect project.
The decision for two skeins of the yarn was taken off my hands when my friend purchased two skeins to knit up the Linen Summer Wrap.
At first I was not inspired by the pattern, because I am more in favor of neat lace stitches rather than the more messy looking dropped stitches, but when I saw her shawl I was convinced that I wanted to knit the same scarf! It looks stunning.
A simple knit easily taken on the road with a lovely end result.
