Knit up as road trip project.
Blurring the lines between the tic and the toc of the pendulum.
I used one variegated yarn (MC) and one yarn which picks up one of the colors in the variegated yarn (CC; gray). The effect is not as in the original pattern with the dramatic contrasting colors and crisp lines. Nonetheless appealing; like a misty rainy day.
As I was knitting while sitting on the beach (in SC) I noticed the similarity between the waves and my shawl and felt compelled to have this reflected in the name I give my piece, too.
