This pattern was written by Antonia Shankland for the Knitting Garage at Stickles, thus the name “Stickle Cowl”. The original pattern calls for Madeline Tosh Merino and is 54” long and 12” tall, but the person who the gift is for prefers lighter yarn and a shorter just around the neck cowl.
I cast on 100 stitches on a 16” circular US #7 needle.
I think this will be just right!
