This yarn has been sitting in my stash for a while. The bag still had the receipt in it from September 2013!
I needed something easy and fun to work on and decided on this pattern with some modifications. So happy to be using it :)
Frogged it after one week. M is too big around my shoulders and I will re-start in size S.

August 23 : Re-started. Knitting on two circulars to allow for frequent fittings.
CO for size XS, but increased to size S by the time I joined in the round and increased the sleeves to size M before doing the lace and the front and back to almost size M by the time I finished the sleeves. Also a little under 2” instead of 1” lace (to adjust for the higher neck line) before dividing sleeves and body.
CO 92 sts. Did Increase row twice ( Front: 8+8=16, Back: 54, Sleeves: 24). For Neck shaping: CO 6sts, then 7sts, then when joining in the round 12 sts. Raglan Increases 8 times. M1 Increases on sleeves 23 times. When knitting the Lace pattern on the sleeves I continues with the raglan increases in the body only three more times (86 sts each front and back). Cast on 2x8=16 sts for underarm. In the next round I purled 18 stitches under the arms (1+8+8+1). This should reduce curling and neatens the stitch between the front and back and the newly cast on stitches. My total stitch count now is 204. Tried it on after separating the sleeves and it fits perfectly, comfortably.
I knitted straight for six inches after the armhole (no decreases), then increased as per pattern every sixth row six times ( 228 sts). I worked an additional increase row at 13” from armhole (232 sts). Then straight to desired length minus 2 1/2 inches. Next row M1 eight times (240 sts). The last 2 1/2 inches I knitted the lace pattern again; I got the inspiration from ValTurner74
I finished with a purl row and then Jenny’s stretchy bind-off. I used the same bind- off for the sleeves and single crochet around the neck and across the underarm stitches. Using Jenny’s stretchy bind off on the sleeves and then single crochet across the underarm gives the look of one continuous bind off (see picture).

About the yarn: You can definitely see differences between skeins. There are no dye lots with this yarn. On the label they do advise to work from multiple skeins alternating rows. This is what it saysl:”As there are no dye lots, we recommend buying enough yarn at one time to complete each individual project. Knit with two hanks in assorted rows (2-4). This will assure an overall blended effect.” Of course I threw that advise out the window, but must say I don’t mind the way mine looks so far (after about 30% of the second skein). I may alternate yarns for the rest of the body if I need a fourth skein which I ordered from a fellow raveller’s stash WickedyKnits, arrives in time :) as I am almost ready to start on skein #3.
9.2. No sooner had I said that the colors don’t bother me, I reconsidered and started blending the second half of skein #2 with skein #3. #2 and #3 are very similar; much more so than they are to #1. The first skein has more color changes which gives the top part of the tee a stripy look.
9.7. Finished and loving it!!!
Neckline: I did 3 rounds of crochet around the neckline. Round 1: with 3.75 mm crochet hook into every stitch. Round 2: with the same hook, skipping every 4th stitch. Round 3: with a 3.5 mm hook into every stitch. I like the way the neckline looks and feels; the crochet gives it more stability; no stretching or drooping :)
