Color C: Hedgehog
Color D: Tosh Light

I am having so much fun working on the Doodler at home and after meeting Stephen at the shop, I felt inspired to work up the Mystery KAL for our next store sample. I am using 4 different yarns :) (that’ s like four store samples in one).
week 1: Used DPN’s and slid the sts instead of slipping the sts back and forth between needle tips on the circular for the I-cord.
12.12. Started on week 2, section 5 brioche version. I wish my color C and D were more contrasting….but it will still look good; of that I am sure.

1.6. I took a major break from this as it was too busy in the shop to concentrate properly. Now with the holidays over, I am working on it again and right away learned something new: Left-leaning and Right-leaning increases and decreases in two color brioche!!! Always fun to learn something new and especially in one of my favorite stitches. Two color brioche has long been one of my favorite stitches and I wrote a cowl pattern in that stitch: owl’s Cowl which explains a special way of doing the Kitchener stitch so the ribbed look is uninterrupted.

3.22.17. Starting the last section (yeah!) in color D and switched to a longer cable as , by now, there are so many stitches (520)!!!

5.7.. YEAH!!! I finished the I-cord bind off this weekend. Now on to sewing in all of the little yarn ends and blocking.
