I’ve got the pattern memorized. Now it’s just a matter of deciding when to switch colors for the smoothest effect.

Very little yarn left over - maybe enough for half a row. Ended with a row 1, not a row 7, and then did a row of single crochet and chain stitch following the stitch pattern of the row below (sc in dc, chain, etc.) rather than ending on row 7 and finishing with the recommended picot edging.
