Notes

INSTRUCTIONS to make the little tree as pictured:

  • The Cascade Yarns “Tangier” is a silk/cotton blend that creates an open fabric with an interesting drape.
  • Weave a 2” or 4” hexagon to make the trunk (make a lightly stuffed ball shape).
  • Weave three 4” hexagons in different shades of green. Cut a piece of 1/8” red ribbon - about 20” long - and fold in half.
  • Pull the ribbon through the top of the trunk, then make knots about 3/4” apart to space the “branches”.
  • Use the rest of the ribbon as hanger.

Alternative: Use wooden beads for the trunk and the spacing.
