Other materials:

• Small amount of dark brown or black yarn for the mouth
• Small amount of stuffing
• (2) Wiggle eyes, 15mm
• (1) Chenille stem in brown

Making Rudolph:

• Weave two 4” hexagons in brown for the body
• Weave two 2” hexagons in brown for the ears
• Weave one 2” hexagon in beige for the snout
• Weave one 2” hexagon in red for the nose

Fold the ear hexagon in half (see picture). Sew the matching sides together. Weave a yarn end through the fold and pull it in a little to form the ear.

For the nose, weave a thread through all sides of the hexagon and pull it in to form a ball. Slightly stuff the nose.

Sew the two large hexagons together along 5 sides. Slightly stuff, then close the last side.

Sew the beige hexagon to one side of the head, along 5 sides. Slighty stuff, then sew the last side into place.

Attach the nose to the snout, the ears to the head, according to the picture.

Add a hanger of your choice.

Glue the wiggle eyes into place.

Cut two pieces off the brown chenille stem, about 3” each. Fold into half, then twist the ends and poke them into place as antlers.

Embroider the mouth onto the snout. Four large stitches as shown in the picture will do.

Note: Humming “Rudolph, the red nose reindeer” is essential to successfully complete this project.
